Hello, dear ones!
I am looking for materials to teach English using CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) and I came across this website: Water Science for Schools
As USA Today puts it:
Understanding water in the atmosphere
Water makes life possible on Earth and also accounts for most of the weather as it changes among its states as a gas (water vapor or "humidity") liquid (ordinary water we drink and swim in) and solid (ice.) The changes of water among these states make up the water cycle.
The U.S. Geological Surrey has a Web site with a huge amount of information about water on the Earth. The links below will answer most of your questions about water. The first link, to information on the water cycle, has a graphic that enables you to click on a particular part of the cycle, such as "precipitation" and go to a Web page with more information.
Earth's water — where it is, the water cycle.
Water basics — its chemistry and physics, measuring it

I hope this is uselful for your classes.
Best, ma.ma.

It started in English only but now I've decided to write my posts in Spanish, too. Este blog pretende ser un espacio para la reflexión y la discusión sobre aprender y enseñar.
